Job Description

Are you a night owl with a passion for Hospitality?

Mercure Brisbane Spring Hill is seeking an enthusiastic Overnight Hotel All Rounder to bring their skills to our vibrant hotel. You will be the go-to person across Housekeeping, Kitchen, and Front Office, ensuring our guests enjoy a seamless and exceptional experience from the moment they walk in. 

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain and clean public areas of the hotel
  • Prepare, cook, and deliver ordered meals/snacks
  • Ensure guests are attended to promptly and efficiently in a professional manner and without delay 
  • Provide passionate and friendly service to external and internal guests 
  • Ensure security policy and procedures are maintained and adhered to 

Qualifications

The desired candidate will have the following skills and experience: 

  • Strong ability to provide exceptional service and handle guest inquiries with professionalism and positive attitude
  • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task 
  • Willingness to work across different departments, taking on varied tasks and responsibilities
  • Familiarity with hotel management software (i.e., Opera) 
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • High standards of cleanliness and organisation
  • Hold a valid QLD RSA (Response Service of Alcohol) certificate or willingness to obtain one
  • Flexible availability to work overnight shifts including weekends with minimal supervision
