Job Description

  • Restocking Minibars: - Regularly check and refill minibars with beverages, snacks, and other guest items, ensuring that all products are fresh, within their expiration dates, and in good condition.
  • Inventory Management: - Track and record stock levels, monitor inventory, and report low stock or any items that need replenishment. Ensure accurate inventory control and minimize waste or loss.
  • Guest Assistance: - Respond to guest requests for minibar items, either by delivering items to their room or providing assistance with minibar selection.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: - Ensure that minibars are clean and well-organized, including the surrounding area in the room (i.e., shelves, fridge, and drawers).
  • Billing and Charges: - Monitor items taken from the minibar and ensure proper billing procedures are followed, updating guest accounts as necessary.
  • Customer Service-Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly, offering recommendations, and ensuring guest satisfaction with minibar offerings.
  • Compliance: - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly regarding the handling of food and beverages.
  • Record Keeping: - Maintain accurate logs of minibar transactions, restocking activities, and guest requests for inventory manage and reporting purposes.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
  • Must be well presented and professionally groomed at all times
  • Able to account and handle cash effectively and efficiently
  • Good communication and customer contact skills; good problem resolution skills
  • Basic F&B product knowledge
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management
  • Good physical stamina, as the job may involve lifting and bending to stock minibars

Qualifications

  • Secondary education

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 1-year food and beverage serving experience or minibar attendant.
  • Previous public contact and/or cashiering experience
