What you will be doing:
- Overseeing the Hotel’s training needs
- Assessing, developing and delivering training programs with a particular focus on Sofitel brand, service delivery and compliance
- Performing needs analysis to identify training needs related to all the levels of the organisation
- Fostering a learning environment and culture within the hotel
- Providing on-going support to the leadership team on training related matters, policies and procedures
- Preparing regular training reports
- Manage financial and administration processes for training activities
- Maintaining record systems
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives of hotel operations, systems and methodologies
- Responsible for the management, implementation and adherence of management systems effectively within the hotel in relation (but not limited to) risk management, compliance, work health & safety, sustainability
Your experience and skills include:
- Service focused personality is essential
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to prioritise work in an environment with multiple interests
- Confidence in training facilitation
- Return to Work Coordinator accreditation highly desirable
- Work, Health & Safety operating knowledge and experience
- Competency using a variety of computer software
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience is an asset. Hotel operations experience would be a distinct advantage
- Proven experience in a similar role essential
