Job Description

What you will be doing:

  • Overseeing the Hotel’s training needs
  • Assessing, developing and delivering training programs with a particular focus on Sofitel brand, service delivery and compliance
  • Performing needs analysis to identify training needs related to all the levels of the organisation
  • Fostering a learning environment and culture within the hotel
  • Providing on-going support to the leadership team on training related matters, policies and procedures
  • Preparing regular training reports
  • Manage financial and administration processes for training activities
  • Maintaining record systems
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives of hotel operations, systems and methodologies
  • Responsible for the management, implementation and adherence of management systems effectively within the hotel in relation (but not limited to) risk management, compliance, work health & safety, sustainability

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Service focused personality is essential
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise work in an environment with multiple interests
  • Confidence in training facilitation
  • Return to Work Coordinator accreditation highly desirable
  • Work, Health & Safety operating knowledge and experience
  • Competency using a variety of computer software
  • Previous hospitality or customer service experience is an asset. Hotel operations experience would be a distinct advantage
  • Proven experience in a similar role essential
