Job Description

  • Provide technical assistance and support for both guests and staff with IT-related issues.
  • Regularly monitor and maintain computer systems, networks, and hardware.
  • Conduct training sessions for hotel staff on basic IT operations, software applications, and hotel-specific systems.
  • Maintain an inventory of all IT equipment, including computers, printers, and peripherals. Keep track of usage, repairs, and replacements to ensure availability and functionality.
  • Assist hotel guests with IT services such as internet access, printing services, and troubleshooting in-room technology like TVs and telephones.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel IT security policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with IT vendors and service providers for procurement, maintenance, and repair services.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Be available for emergency IT support outside of regular working hours as needed. Respond promptly to critical issues to minimize disruption to hotel operations.
  • Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements in hospitality IT.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven 3 years of experience as an IT Assistant, IT Support Technician, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS) and hospitality-specific software (preferred).
