Job Description

Responsible for maintaining integrity of all IT related systems and ensuring that all IT related hardware and software at the hotel are functioning properly. Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service 
  • Implementation of Information Technology to the hotel in accordance with corporate Information Technology standards, strategies, and priorities.
  • Manage the hotel’s day-to-day IT activity ensuring all standards are followed. 
  • Assist end-user problems for all departments within the Hotel.
  • Comply with the company’s IT Security Policy as it pertains to hardware, software, security/data safety. 
  • Support the hotel’s stand-alone systems, including but not limited to, systems connected to the Network, point of sales systems, all related interfaces, file server, UPS related devices, etc.
  • Work and consult with hardware and software vendors to setup and maintain all required equipment.
  • Ensure that the usage and installation of software is in accordance with the software licensing laws. 
  • Supervise and monitor all IT related hardware and software installations.
  • Ensure that critical hotel data is secured, backed up on a daily basis and in line with stated corporate standards and best practices.
  • Planning, coordinating and implementing periodical preventive maintenance schedule for all IT related hardware and software. 
  • Following up and controlling hotel systems compliance according to corporate Information Technology standards/policies and PCI information security standard.
  • Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs. 
  • Follow departmental policies and procedures .
  • Other duties as assigned by General Manager.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor degree in Hotel Management, preferred.  
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT within a luxury hotel or resort is required.
