Job Description

  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the hotel's hardware, software, and network systems to ensure smooth operations.
  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect guest information, payment systems, and other sensitive data from breaches or cyber-attacks.
  • Manage and support systems that directly impact guest experience, such as PMS, point-of-sale (POS) systems, in-room entertainment systems, and Wi-Fi networks.
  • Evaluates, selects and implements software applications that enhance guest experience, streamline operations and improve overall efficiency.
  • Train hotel staff on the use of IT systems and provide ongoing technical support to staff and guests to resolve issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Prepare and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective technology solutions that align with the hotel's financial goals and strategic plans.
  • Lead and manage IT projects, including upgrades, new system implementations, and technology integrations, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure that all IT systems and practices comply with industry standards, data protection regulations (like GDPR), and hotel-specific requirements.
  • Continuously monitor the performance of IT systems and infrastructure, generating regular reports to hotel management on IT operations, incidents, and improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor`s degree in IT or related field
  • Proven experience in hotel IT  and strong knowledge with PMS, POS etc
  • Expertise in data security, network infrastructure and cloud computing
  • Fluent in English
