Job Description
Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, the Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervising the daily operations of the housekeeping department. You'll ensure rooms and public areas are immaculately clean, manage linen and laundry logistics, support staff development, and uphold all health, safety, and environmental standards in accordance with our brand and service policies.
Responsibilities
Supervise room inspections, staff schedules, and daily housekeeping operations
Maintain inventory, manage linen and laundry procedures efficiently
Liaise with Front Office and Maintenance to ensure timely room readiness
Respond to guest requests and handle VIP setups with urgency and care
Train, mentor, and induct new team members while promoting a positive work environment
Handle guest and staff issues professionally, conducting morning briefs and team meetings
Support cost control by managing resources effectively and responsibly
Qualifications
at least 6 months supervisory / team leader experience in hotel housekeeping or accommodation services
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Ability to work collaboratively with a multicultural team
Understanding of hygiene, safety protocols, and manual handling procedures
Wage - $31.52 per hour
