Job Description
We’re seeking a reliable and hands-on Handyperson to support the day-to-day maintenance of the hotel. Working closely with our Engineering team, you’ll help keep the resort running smoothly, ensuring all areas are well-maintained, safe, and guest-ready. From painting and presentation upkeep to routine inspections and general repairs, you’ll enjoy a varied role where your work makes a real impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out painting and presentation touch-ups across guest rooms and public areas
- Perform general maintenance across plant and equipment
- Complete routine inspections and identify faults or repair requirements
- Support preventative maintenance programs and daily plant checks
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of completed and outstanding tasks
- Liaise with team members and contractors to minimise disruption to guests
Qualifications
- Strong painting skills with a focus on quality finishes and presentation
- Hands-on experience across general maintenance, including door locks, safes, air-conditioning cleaning, and pool maintenance
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable, team-focused, and committed to a positive workplace culture
- Guest-focused with the ability to provide friendly, professional service
- Available to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
