Mercure Sohar welcomes travellers to the ancient capital of Sohar - Oman, credited as the mythical birthplace of Sinbad the Sailor. Mercure Sohar is just 15 min from Sohar airport and 25 min from the Industrial Estate and Free Zone. Located midway through Muscat-Dubai highway on the Batinah coast, Sohar is ideal for both leisure breaks and business trips. - Guest Relations: Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere. Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently and courteously.
- Customer Service: Please address guest questions and concerns promptly, providing accurate information about hotel services, local attractions, and travel arrangements.
- Reservations Management: Assist guests with booking and confirming reservations and making any necessary changes to existing reservations.
- Billing and Payments: Manage guest accounts, process payments, and ensure accurate billing.
- Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with all departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Problem Solving: Resolve guest issues and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to turn negative experiences into positive ones.
- Administration: Maintain accurate records of guest interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints. Prepare and distribute guest feedback and service reports.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure all guest needs are met and the hotel runs smoothly.
- Promotion of Services: Inform guests about hotel amenities, services, and promotions to enhance their stay and encourage utilization of on-site facilities.
- Previous experience in a customer service or front desk role within the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach.
- Proficiency in using hotel management software and other relevant computer applications.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional guest service.
