Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to oversee and support the day‑to‑day operations of our Restaurant team at Pullman Auckland. This role is responsible for supervising service delivery across multiple outlets, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high operational and service standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support the day‑to‑day operations of the Food & Beverage department, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery
  • Oversee operations across Restaurant, Bar, Room Service, Mini Bar, and Executive Lounge
  • Lead, supervise, and coordinate team members on shift, ensuring adherence to service standards and procedures
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and service quality, proactively resolving issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and service standards, maintaining a clean, safe and well-presented environment
  • Support and contribute to staff rostering and scheduling in collaboration with the Restaurant & Bar Manager and Food & Beverage Manager, ensuring effective workforce planning and service coverage
  • Train, coach, and develop team members to ensure high levels of product knowledge and 5‑star service delivery
  • Support departmental financial performance, including assisting with cost control, stock management, and ensuring accurate billing and cash handling procedures are followed
  • Support the Restaurant & Bar Manager / Food & Beverage Manager in achieving departmental goals and operational outcomes

Qualifications

To be successful in your application, you must:

  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in Food & Beverage within a hospitality environment
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory or team leader role
  • Proven experience leading and supervising teams in a busy service environment
  • Strong understanding of food and beverage operations in a multi-outlet environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members
  • Ability to work under pressure, make decisions independently, and resolve operational issues
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality guest service
  • LCQ certificate (preferred)
  • Experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel environment (preferred)
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays

This is a Full Time Position, 40 hours per week, $29.11 per hour, plus incredible Global Benefits
