Job Description

Bring your passion for food and beverage service to one of Brisbane’s largest conferencing and events operations. As a Food and Beverage Supervisor in Conference and Events, you will supervise your team to create unforgettable experiences for our guests.

What you will be doing:

  • Assist in leading, mentoring and training the Conference and Events Operations team
  • Supervise events, liaise with clients and delegate duties to team members
  • Liaise with the kitchen to ensure the highest standard of food quality and visual appeal is maintained
  • Ensure guest expectations are met in each event, delivering a service that exudes luxury and aligns with Sofitel brand standards
  • Promote a strong Heartist culture and a team that is focused on providing unforgettable experiences to our guests.

Qualifications

You will excel in this role if you have:

  • A luxury-focused personality
  • Events experience in large-scale hospitality events operations
  • Experience in leading and supervising a team
  • Ability to work a rotating roster, including late/overnight shifts
  • A genuine passion for food and beverage
  • Ability to delegate responsibilities accordingly
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol qualification
  • A high level of personal presentation
  • Team spirit and positivity, and the ability to work efficiently.
