We are located within the luxurious 5-star Sydney hotel, Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour, which offers apartment-style suites for business and leisure guest’s luxury accommodation.


Job Description

Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour is seeking for a truly passionate hospitality professional who has a bright and bubbly personality to represent and be the first impression of Hyde Hacienda! Reporting to the Venue Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Explaining the menu to guests, assisting those with special dietary needs or preferences as well as provide suitable assistance when recommending beverages.
  • Delivering food & beverage items to tables.
  • Providing all customers with memorable, personal and unique experiences showcasing Hyde Hacienda’s flair and glamour.
  • Maintaining product knowledge and maximising bar sales.
  • Keeping your section of the floor organised.
  • Ensure that dockets are written clearly and correctly so the cashier and kitchen can fulfill their duties effectively.
  • Promptly answer the telephone and maximize sales opportunities through knowledge of product and suggestive selling.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Experience in high volume, fast-paced restaurant/bar environment beneficial
  • Cocktail, spirit and wine knowledge is advantageous
  • Passion for delivering outstanding service
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, whilst being guest orientated and service minded
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
  • Confidence in liaising with various internal and external clients
  • Flexibility to work across a 7 day rotating roster, including nights and weekends
