About Mercure Brisbane Spring Hill
The Mercure Brisbane Spring Hill is located on the central city fringe, just minutes from the CBD, Brisbane River, Suncorp Stadium and public transport. Overlooking the city skyline and Roma St Parklands, the Hotel features 179 spacious guest rooms with generous open-aired balconies, modern amenities, an outdoor swimming pool, fitness room, and an alfresco-style restaurant and bar.
Job Description
We are looking for a passionate Food & Beverage Attendant who thinks outside the box and wants the opportunity to make our Food & Beverage outlets the heart & soul of our Hotel.
In this role you will:
- Be the ‘face’ of our restaurant, Osteria Roma
- Welcome both in-house and external guests
- Provide consistent and high-quality service
- Be an active promoter of Osteria Roma and assist in implementing ways to drive revenue within our food and beverage outlets
- Run breakfast, lunch and dinner service, including conferencing and events as required
- Bring flair and passion each and every day
- Be given the opportunity to have your say and bring new ideas to the team
- Maintain standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation
- Promote a safe workplace by recognising hazards and promoting general WHS practices
Qualifications
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) in QLD
- An entrepreneurial style and drive for café-restaurant operations
- Experienced and passionate about making a good cup of coffee, is desired
- Flexible availability to work during the week including weekends and public holidays
