What you will be doing:
- Food preparation and cooking, plating, presentation
- Kitchen maintenance and cleaning, following food safety requirements
- Have full knowledge of all menu items, daily features and promotions
- Follow kitchen policies, procedures and service standards
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
- Follow written standardized recipes and successfully execute
- Maintain station (prep levels, cleanliness at all times) and standards of the assigned kitchen
- Execute several dishes and tasks simultaneously
Your experience and skills include:
- Creative and passionate about food and customer service
- Able to work in a high-pressure environment
- Able to multitask and prioritize
- Full understanding of how to season all types of food (balance sweet/salty/acidic/umami)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; a team player utilizing proper communication channels
- Clear understanding of Servsafe standards and proper food handling techniques
- Previous experience in the culinary field required
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
- Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling
- ccasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
Visa Requirements: Successful candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
