Job Description

  • Implements all hotel procedures and policies effectively.

  • Establishes, develops, and strengthens positive relationships with all clients.

  • Works to identify new markets and presents them to the Sales and Marketing department.

  • Reports weekly and monthly sales activities to the Assistant Director of Congress and Event Sales.

  • Executes all sales plans efficiently.

  • Organizes hotel site inspections and tours for potential clients.

  • Records all sales activities in Opera.

  • Visits travel agencies in Istanbul to promote the hotel and fosters strong relationships.

  • Manages group and banquet reservations for domestic and international clients/travel agencies.

  • Attends daily and monthly Sales and Marketing briefing meetings.

  • Achieves weekly sales visit, phone call, and telemarketing targets set by the Director.

  • Ensures smooth communication between clients and operational departments to guarantee operational success. Organizes operational meetings as needed.

  • Addresses client requests during operations.

  • Finalizes food, beverage, and meeting room setup requirements.

  • Prepares upgrade and upsell menus.

  • Reviews and interprets forecasts and budgets.

  • Utilizes and evaluates meeting packages effectively.

  • Determines requirements for all group reservations.
