Job Description

Join our culinary team as a Chef de Partie in Adelaide, Australia! We're seeking a talented and passionate individual to create exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you'll bring your creativity and expertise to craft delicious dishes that showcase your culinary skills.

  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to our menu and recipes
  • Manage your assigned station efficiently during service hours
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop innovative menu items
  • Ensure consistent food quality and presentation standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
  • Assist the Sous Chef and Executive Chef as needed
  • Contribute to menu planning and ingredient selection
  • Participate in inventory management and cost control efforts

Qualifications

  • Culinary qualifications from a recognized institution
  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar leadership role 
  • Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • Creative flair and passion for experimenting with flavors and techniques
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Positive attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and work in a hot kitchen environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently
  • Applicants must hold full time working rights in Australia
