Novotel & Ibis Auckland Ellerslie is a dual branded hotel home to Acacia Bar & Restaurant and multiple conference spaces. Our hotel has a combined 247 contemporary guest rooms with our staff creating memorable moments for our guests.

 


Job Description

  • Primary running of the bar area service, taking food and drink orders and making drinks upon request
  • Assess guest needs and preferences to make recommendations
  • Have strong knowledge of local New Zealand wine and beer
  • Maintaining a well presented, well stocked and tidy bar area
  • Be part of the guest experience providing amazing customer service  

Qualifications

  • Outgoing personality is essential 
  • A minimum of 1 year experience bartending (hotel environment preferred but not required)
  • Extensive knowledge of both local and international wines and cocktail mixology 
  • A naturally friendly demeanor that makes our guests feel right at home
  • Proven professionalism and high level of grooming
