Job Description

Position Summary:
Fairmont Grand Del Mar is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Laundry and Housekeeping Manager to join our team. This is a hybrid role that involves overseeing the daily operations of both the laundry and housekeeping departments to ensure exceptional guest experiences and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the daily operations of the laundry and housekeeping departments
  • Supervise laundry and housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies to ensure smooth operations
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
  • Assist in developing and implementing departmental policies and procedures
  • Handle guest inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Assist in training new employees and conducting performance evaluations
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences


  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Knowledge of laundry and housekeeping operations
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred

Additional Information

Salary Range: $75,000 - $79,000 Annual 

Visa Requirements: Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
