Stewarding Overnight Cleaner - seasonal contract to end September 30, 2025

Starting Pay Rate: $19.43 per hour + gratuities

• Deep cleaning of kitchen equipment and kitchens and backspaces after operating hours.
• Ensure all kitchen floors, ovens, deep fat fryers, flat tops, stove tops, exhaust systems and hoods, kettles, smoker hoods, walls, fridge doors, and ceiling tiles are cleaned and meet sanitation standards.
• Discard used fryer oil in correct container as per established procedures.
• Clean all food-service utensils, dishes, glassware, pots and pans, and kitchen food-preparation tools either by hand or using a commercial dishwasher. 
• Sort and stack dishware, glassware, and kitchen equipment and tools.
• Sweep and mop kitchen and stewarding area floor and collect and remove garbage and recycling.

• Previous kitchen or stewarding experience is an asset
• Keen attention to detail and high standards for cleanliness and sanitation
• Physically capable of standing and walking throughout an 8-hour shift; frequently lifting and carrying items weighing up to 40 pounds / 18 kg; and frequently leaning, crouching, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, scrubbing, and reaching above and below shoulder height
• Available to work overnight shifts, between 10:30 pm and 7:00 am
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work productively while unsupervised

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
