Job Description

The Role

 

  • Under the supervision of the Entertainment/ Wellness Manager Manager and/or the General Manager and within the limits of the established Accor policies, his/her responsibilities are to provide vigilance in the area deployed for safety and Entertainment/ Wellness Manager of guests, heartist and resort property by preventing entry or exit of unauthorized men and material, in order to maximize organizational profitability in an atmosphere of teamwork and high heartist morale.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining Entertainment/ Wellness Manager and safety of the hotel property, guest and heartist by constant vigil in and around deployed areas and assist the Management in supervising and implementing the Operational Standards as well as the Accor “Standards for Entertainment/ Wellness Manager”

 

Key Deliverables and Responsibilities

 

Planning & Organizing:

The Entertainment/ Wellness Manager Supervisor must be thoroughly familiar with all Accor corporate and local Operational Standards ensure they are adhered to as well as the responsibilities and goals as outlined below:

  1. Keep the General Manager/EAM informed of all Entertainment/ Wellness Manager related matters.
  2. Liaise and with Management as well as heartistand assist with Entertainment/ Wellness Manager problems and loss control.
  3. Liaise with local law enforcement and Fire & Safety officials as required.
  4. Adhere to the Hotel’s grooming and appearance standards.
  5. Show full cooperation and respect both within the team and other departments
  6. Is aware of the hotels daily activities and has extensive product knowledge of all the hotel services & facilities

 

Operations:

Performing different types of massages, beauty treatments, and wellness therapies.

Maintaining detailed records of massages, treatments, and therapies performed on each spa guest.

Communicating with guests during massages to adjust massage techniques as required.

Resolving guest complaints and reporting any accidents to the supervisor.

Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, changing treatment room sheets, and sterilizing all instruments and equipment before each use.

Explaining massages, treatments, and therapies to guests and providing suitable recommendations as needed.

Ensuring that the spa is adequately stocked with spa supplies and reporting shortages to the supervisor.

Enquiring about guests' medical conditions and allergies before providing spa services.

Administration:

  1. Deliver a variety of spa services (body treatments, massages, facials, waxing and manicure/pedicure) in a safe and comfortable manner
  2. Maintain equipment and sample inventory of products
  3. Keep documentation and maintain clients files
  4. Keep a clean and stocked room
  5. Acknowledge and respond to relevant customer queries, needs and expectations
  6. Suggest and promote retail products or additional services
  7. Uphold hygiene standards and follow health and safety regulations
  8. Cooperate with and report on administration on any arising issues
  9. Apply best practices and be up to date with market trends

Qualifications

  • Should have previous experience within the Spa field.
  • Should have degree in a related discipline.
  • You’ve experience and certification in one of the Spa disciplines of fitness or therapy preferred
