Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven Senior Sales Manager for our Cairo, Egypt office to lead and expand our sales operations within the government and corporate sectors. In this strategic leadership role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies, building high-performing teams, and driving revenue growth across key accounts in both the public and private sectors. The ideal candidate will combine strong business acumen with exceptional relationship-building capabilities and a proven track record of success in complex, multi-stakeholder sales environments.

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans targeting government agencies and corporate clients, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and market opportunities
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals, providing coaching, performance feedback, and career development opportunities to drive individual and team excellence
  • Identify, pursue, and close high-value contracts with government and corporate clients, managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and closure
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and procurement officials in both government and corporate sectors
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and recommend strategic initiatives
  • Manage and forecast sales pipelines using CRM systems, ensuring accurate reporting and visibility into sales activities and revenue projections
  • Negotiate complex contracts and terms with clients, ensuring favorable conditions while maintaining long-term partnership value
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, delivery, and finance to ensure seamless client onboarding and successful project execution
  • Monitor team performance metrics, analyze sales data, and implement corrective actions to achieve or exceed revenue targets
  • Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to enhance brand visibility and generate business leads

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of progressive sales management experience, with at least 5 years focused on government and/or corporate sector sales
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing sales teams
  • Demonstrated expertise in B2B sales, account management, and complex contract negotiations
  • Strong understanding of government procurement processes, regulations, and buying cycles
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales analytics tools
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
  • Strategic thinking and analytical capabilities to assess market opportunities and develop actionable sales strategies
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment
  • Familiarity with the Egyptian market and local business practices is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and business intelligence tools
  • Preferred: Experience with government tenders and public sector contracting
