Public Area Attendant

Position Overview

Provide high standards of cleanliness and maintenance in all public areas of the hotel. Ensure a welcoming and pleasant environment for guests by maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in public spaces. The role requires flexibility and availability, including weekends, with working hours from 06:30am to 14:30pm, five days a week. 40 Hours Per Week.

Rate of Pay - £12.50 Per Hour

Main Responsibilities

Duties

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all public areas, including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and other guest-facing spaces.

• Perform regular checks to ensure all areas are clean, well-stocked, and presentable.

• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and inquiries regarding housekeeping services.

• Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and according to established procedures.

• Ensure timely and efficient collection and disposal of waste and recycling materials.

• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.

• Assist in setting up and maintaining public areas for special events and functions.

• Follow hotel brand standards and procedures for cleaning and presentation.

• Work collaboratively with other hotel departments to provide seamless guest experiences.
