As a Pastry Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for creating exceptional pastries and decadent desserts for the Rose Lounge, Events, Bistrot, In-Room Dining, and the St James Bar, as well as curating special amenities for Guest rooms.
Showcasing your exceptional skills and meticulous attention to detail, you will ensure our pastry menus are delivered to the highest standards. You will take immense pride in your work and demonstrate unwavering composure in our high-pressure kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to develop innovative and exquisite pastry creations.
- Oversee daily preparation and production of pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
- Ensure adherence to rigorous standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety to guarantee the highest quality and freshness.
- Contribute to menu planning and special event preparations with creative and exceptional ideas.
- Enhance efficiency in kitchen operations while maintaining our unwavering commitment to excellence, ensuring that every aspect of our pastry production meets the highest standards.
Extensive experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or in a comparable role within a prestigious culinary establishment.
- Demonstrable creative flair and a profound understanding of flavour pairings and presentation techniques.
- Advanced proficiency in various pastry techniques, including intricate decoration and plating.
- Exceptional organisational skills and the capacity to excel in a dynamic, high-pressure kitchen environment.
- A culinary degree or relevant professional certifications are highly desirable.
