Night Manager - Mercure Perth on Hay

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Full Time Night Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient running of Mercure Perth on Hay's overnight operation, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction as well as the safety and security of the property.

What will you be doing?

• Managing the hotel overnight in the absence of the General Manager
• Complete audits of daily revenue and postings, making adjustments where needed
• Collate paperwork and reports for finance and management
• Provide efficient guest services including check in/out, request handling and providing hotel information
• Settle and maintain guest accounts, ensuring cashiering is accurate
• Maintain strict security procedures to ensure guest confidentiality and safety
• Maintain the hotels standard of professionalism
• Be analytical and possess an eye for detail
• Assist the Front Office Manager and General Manager in a variety of check and balance procedures
• Assist with food & drink service in Distrikt Cafe and help out when needed in the restaurant and bar

Your skills and experience include:

• Guest obsessed focus with the ability to flex in a fast paced and ever changing environment
• Ability to navigate through change and provide quick thinking solutions should problems arise
• Clear and confident communication skills – both written and verbal 
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for numbers
• Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office and Opera.
• RSA and First Aid/CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
• Unrestricted valid Australian working rights and the availability to work 38 hours per week flexibly
