Job Description
Are you a night owl with a passion for hospitality and attention to detail? Join our friendly and professional Front Office team as a Night Auditor and play a vital role in ensuring smooth overnight operations and exceptional guest experiences.
This is a part-time overnight position working from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working independently, and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest service around the clock.
About the Role
As Night Auditor, you will be responsible for overseeing the hotel’s overnight operations, supporting guest needs, and completing the end-of-day financial and reporting processes. You will be the key point of contact during overnight hours, ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of all guests.
What You'll Be Doing
- Welcome late arrivals and assist guests with enquiries, requests, and overnight concerns
- Handle guest complaints professionally and efficiently
- Complete the night audit process and reconcile daily transactions across all revenue centres
- Prepare and distribute daily revenue, occupancy, and incident reports for management
- Conduct property security checks and manage after-hours access
- Maintain accurate records and provide clear handovers to the morning Front Office team
- Ensure compliance with hotel procedures, health & safety standards, and company policies
Qualifications
About You! You are reliable and service-focused hospitality professional who is confident working independently overnight and committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Previous Front Office or hotel experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure
- Confident using hotel management systems and basic financial processes
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Flexible availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Valid Australian Working Rights / Visa is essential
