Collaborating with local partner (Lucrum Capital Pte Ltd), Mama Shelter is part of Ennismore, a global collective of creative hospitality brands in joint venture with Accor. 

The IT Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the organisation’s IT systems and infrastructure to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient technology operations. This role bridges business needs with technology solutions, supports users, manages vendors, and ensures cybersecurity and compliance.

The title and remuneration will be commensurate with experience.


Job Description

1. IT Operations & Infrastructure

  • Oversee day-to-day IT operations including networks, servers, cloud services, hardware, and software
  • Ensure high system availability, performance, and reliability
  • Manage IT asset lifecycle (hardware, software, licenses)

2. Information Security & Compliance

  • Establish and enforce IT security policies, standards, and procedures
  • Monitor cybersecurity risks and implement preventative controls
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g. PDPA, ISO standards if applicable)
  • Lead incident response and disaster recovery planning

3. User Support & Service Delivery

  • Manage IT support services (internal helpdesk or outsourced)
  • Ensure timely resolution of IT issues and user satisfaction
  • Develop user guidelines, training, and documentation

4. Project & Change Management

  • Lead IT projects such as system implementations, upgrades, and migrations
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Manage timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholders

5. Vendor & Budget Management

  • Evaluate, select, and manage IT vendors and service providers
  • Negotiate contracts and service-level agreements (SLAs)
  • Prepare and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost efficiency

6. Strategy & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop and maintain IT roadmaps aligned with business strategy
  • Identify opportunities for automation, digitalisation, and process improvement
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5+ years of IT experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure, cloud environments, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems
  • Experience managing vendors and IT budgets

Preferred / Nice to Have

  • IT certifications (e.g. ITIL, CISSP, CISM, PMP, Microsoft/AWS)
  • Experience in data protection and regulatory compliance
  • Experience supporting regional or multi-site operations
