Job Description

An Income Audit Ambassador plays a key role in ensuring the financial integrity of a hotel's operations. This position involves reviewing and verifying daily financial transactions, identifying discrepancies, and providing accurate reports to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Review and verify all revenue transactions for the day, including room rates, food and beverage sales, and other services provided by the hotel.
  • Ensure proper posting of all income sources, ensuring accuracy in the hotel's financial records.
  • Reconcile guest charges and payments, including checking for discrepancies in bills, payments, and adjustments.
  • Assist in maintaining internal controls by monitoring financial transactions and reporting any suspicious activity or irregularities.
  • Ensure compliance with the hotel’s financial policies, procedures, and legal requirements
  • Work closely with the front office, sales, and accounting teams to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly income audit reports for management, detailing total revenue, occupancy, and department-wise income. 
  • Enter financial data into the hotel’s financial system accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain detailed records of income audits, supporting documents, and backup data for all financial transactions
  • Help develop or improve financial processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a similar role in a luxury brand.
  • Strong ability to spot discrepancies and inconsistencies in financial data.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and communicate effectively with team members and management.
