We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Housekeeping Manager to join our team in Gandhinagar, India. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in our establishment. As a Housekeeping Manager, you will lead and inspire a team of housekeeping staff while ensuring efficient operations and exceptional service delivery.
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all areas meet cleanliness and presentation standards
- Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures
- Manage and motivate a diverse team of housekeeping staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to maintain quality standards
- Coordinate with other departments to address guest requests and maintenance issues promptly
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring optimal stock levels
- Implement and maintain health and safety protocols in compliance with local regulations
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets, controlling costs while maintaining service quality
- Handle guest complaints and concerns professionally, ensuring timely resolution
- Continuously seek ways to improve operational efficiency and guest satisfaction
- 1-2 years of progressive leadership experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hospitality setting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in prioritizing and handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Proficient in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and hotel housekeeping management systems
- In-depth understanding of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry
- Strong budget management and cost control skills
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
