Job Description
As a Handyman, you make an important contribution to the smooth operation of Mercure Amsterdam City. You will ensure that the hotel remains in excellent condition at all times. Your main tasks are related to technical maintenance and supporting the technical department.
Together with your colleagues, you make sure that everything in and around the hotel is functioning properly and looks well-maintained. You will carry out small repairs, assist with technical issues, and respond to requests from colleagues. A flexible work ethic is important in this role, since no day is the same in hospitality.
Qualifications
What will your main tasks be in this position?
• Performing small technical tasks such as plumbing and basic electrical work;
• Carrying out minor repairs and maintenance throughout the hotel;
• Replacing lamps and fixing small defects;
• Painting and touch-up work where needed;
• Assisting the technical department with daily tasks and projects;
• Supporting with internal relocations and set-ups;
• Responding to maintenance-related requests from colleagues and guests.
