Job Description
Join some of the industry's best and brightest in the premier luxury property in Austin at the R&R/Pool Bar. The beginning to a limitless career starts right here in Fulton in our bar back position. Work with passionate and knowledgeable bartenders in a team constantly striving for excellence. In a fun and fast paced environment.
What you will be doing:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service
- Maintain well stock including juices, syrups, liquors, etc.
- Follow outlet policies, procedures, and service standards
- Maintains bar cleanliness and stocks glassware
- Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
- Take ownership over the mise en place of the bar. Requisitioning or prepping items before we are out of stock and maintaining freshness with all ingredients
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Previous restaurant experience a plus
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Highly responsible and reliable
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
Ability to focus attention on guests needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Physical Demands
Constant standing and walking through the shift
Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting
Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, step stools and ramps
