We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical F & B Controller to join our team in Bengaluru, India. As the F & B Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of our food and beverage department, ensuring optimal cost control and profitability.
- Develop and manage budgets for the food and beverage department
- Analyze financial data and prepare regular reports for management
- Monitor and control food and beverage costs, including inventory management
- Implement and maintain effective cost control measures
- Collaborate with department heads to optimize financial performance
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Identify areas for cost savings and process improvements
- Oversee month-end closing procedures and financial reconciliations
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making
- Train and mentor staff on financial procedures and cost control measures
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in F&B financial management or related field
- Professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) preferred
- Strong financial management and accounting skills
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry
- Knowledge of food and beverage industry trends and regulations
- Understanding of hospitality operations and cost structures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
