Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Operational Assistant General Manager to join our team in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. This key leadership role will oversee the food and beverage, wellness, and retail operations of our prestigious establishment, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize food and beverage, wellness, and retail operations
  • Lead and mentor a diverse team of managers and staff across multiple departments
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards in all operational areas
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability through innovative programs and efficient resource management
  • Collaborate with the executive team to align departmental goals with overall business objectives
  • Analyze financial reports, market trends, and customer feedback to make data-driven decisions
  • Oversee inventory management, cost control, and budgeting for all assigned departments
  • Cultivate relationships with vendors, suppliers, and local partners to enhance product offerings and guest experiences
  • Implement and maintain quality control measures across all operational areas
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in food and beverage, wellness, and retail sectors

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of successful leadership in luxury resort or hotel management
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and profit optimization
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in hospitality management software and point-of-sale systems
  • In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, wellness program management, and retail operations in hospitality settings
  • Fluency in English and Spanish; knowledge of Mexican hospitality laws and regulations is a plus
  • Certification in food safety and sanitation
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and implement best practices in hospitality operations
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions in a fast-paced environment
