Conference & Events Sales Coordinator

Nestled in the heart of the Darling Sqaure precinct Novotel Sydney Darling Square is on the search for a Conference and Events Sales Coordinator to join the team.

Reporting directly to the Conference & Events Manager, your strong administration skills and precise eye to detail will assist smooth running of our Conference and Events department.

What you'll be doing:

• Assist in the preparation and follow up of conference proposals 
• Assist with the formulation of quotations for conference proposals covering venue, function, menu and accommodation costs
• Type correspondence and accurate Banquet Event Orders (BEO’s) 
• Collaborate with multiple hotel departments ensure smooth running of daily operations

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Previous knowledge of function and/or events sales, ideally within the hospitality industry beneficial
• Ability to plan, prioritise and organise workflow
• Strong written and verbal communications skills with a keen eye and attention to detail
• Great problem-solving & time management skills
• A friendly, energetic personality with an ability to build rapport easily
