Job Description

As a Communication Manager at Accor, I support the design and execution of an integrated communication strategy, overseeing external communication. My role involves supporting corporate functions and ensuring effective coordination between the Global Communication Strategy, our Business Units, agencies, internal clients and journalists. My role involves managing  and addressing the needs of journalists, coordinating, crisis situations, and ensuring a cohesive online presence through effective management and press relations and a strategic use of social media.

My missions will be : 

Communication Strategy:

  • Help design and implement an integrated communication strategy aligned with organizational objectives ;
  • Oversee public relations activities, including press release writing, media management, and journalist relations ;
  • Create content for various formats including Q&A, messaging, press releases, opinion pieces, speeches or briefs ;
  • Ensure the follow-up of communication campaign publications by monitoring press coverage ;
  • Benchmarck and monitoring of key industry trends. 

Digital Projects:

  • Manage and coordinate the Pressroom and Accommodation Request tool ;
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure project success ;
  • Respond promptly to issues encountered on the platform.

Social Media:

  • Work on KOL’s project ;
  • Coordinate and write posts to accompany a Press Release or highlight an article/Interview ;
  • Ensure consistency and continuity of the X feed by sharing articles and monitor journalists and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).

Qualifications

Education / Experience

  • 2/3 years of experience
  • Master's level qualification in communication

Skills 

  • Journalist network ;
  • Writing skills and the ability to create content suitable for various platforms ;
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and collaborate with Comex members ;
  • Demonstrate flexibility in approach and mindset to navigate various situations ;
  • Be versatile and open-minded to take on diverse tasks and responsibilities.
