Job Description

We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and love creating memorable dining experiences, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delegate duties to kitchen staff.

  • Lead by example and set a positive tone.

  • Assist with menu preparation.

  • Ensure adequate supplies for service.

  • Communicate menu changes to restaurant team.

  • Maintain presentation and cost control standards.

  • Implement and maintain stock control procedures.

  • Supervise apprentices in food prep.

  • Ensure mise en place is prepared as required.

  • Keep work areas clean and tidy.

  • Ensure equipment is maintained and cleaned.

  • Assist with roster preparation and cost-effective staffing.

  • Report any issues to the Executive Chef.


Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional food with attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, especially under pressure.
  • Ability to work well in a team and support junior staff.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event days.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (relevant certifications are a plus).
