Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our Sales and Marketing team in Sofitel Brisbane Central. As a key player in our organisation's growth strategy, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing strong client relationships, and driving sales performance.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and proactive outreach
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to foster repeat business and brand loyalty
  • Explore untapped markets and identify opportunities for business expansion
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to implement effective sales strategies
  • Create and present compelling proposals for our organization's products or services
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform business development strategies
  • Set and achieve ambitious sales targets and business goals
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance and market insights to senior management

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in a B2B environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
  • Natural leadership qualities and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Passion for identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities
  • Enthusiasm for building and maintaining long-term client relationships
  • Self-motivated with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
  • Strategic thinking capabilities to develop and implement effective sales strategies
  • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events
