Bar Team Associate

We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Bar Team Associate to join our vibrant establishment in Dartford, United Kingdom. As a key member of our bar team, you will play a crucial role in creating an enjoyable and welcoming atmosphere for our patrons.

• Greet customers warmly and take drink orders promptly and accurately
• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
• Maintain a clean and organised bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Handle cash and card transactions efficiently and accurately
• Restock bar supplies and assist with inventory management
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on drink selections to enhance customer experience
• Enforce responsible drinking policies and age verification procedures
• Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar area for events or promotions

• Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to work well under pressure
• Basic maths skills for handling cash and card transactions accurately
• Knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including popular cocktails
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues
• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred
• Personal Licence is desirable but not essential
• Food Hygiene Certificate is advantageous
• Must be at least 18 years of age to serve alcohol (as per UK law)
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
