Job Description

As Assistant Manager you will be responsible for management of the day to day operation of Front Office, telephones and night audit functions. Other responsibilities include providing efficient service for guest registration and departure; maintaining accurate guest accounts and providing accurate, helpful information, assisting in the management of the hotel in the absence of senior management, regular liaising with other departments ensuring requests are completed quickly, prioritizing guests needs

Qualifications

Your skills and experience include:

  • A thorough knowledge of Front Office Operations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to exceed guest expectations
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Front Office in a medium to large hotel.
  • Flexibility of availability e.g. Weekends and Public Holidays.  AM, PM and Night shifts
  • Must have a managers certificate
  • Experience with Opera system preferred
  • Excellent spoken and written English
