Job Description

The Food and Beverage Assistant Manager (Food Quality) ensures the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and regulatory compliance throughout the hotel. This role maintains and oversees the hotel’s entire food safety system, leads food safety training, conducts internal audits, and coordinates the Food Safety Team to promote a proactive food safety culture. Food and Beverage Assistant Manager (Food Quality) ensures all food handling, preparation, storage, and service meet brand, legal, and international safety standards.


Qualifications

Education & Skills

• High School graduate required; Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Food Science, or related field preferred.

• Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards.

• Ability to speak English and Spanish preferred.

• Strong computer skills for documentation and reporting.

 

Experience

 

• 1 – 5 years of previous experience in food safety and quality assurance.

• 1 – 5 years of previous experience in hospitality\, hotels, large kitchens, or high‑volume operations preferred.

 

Licenses / Certificates

• Ability to obtain any required local or federal certifications.

• Food Safety Certification required (i.e ServSafe)

• Responsible Alcohol Service Certification preferred.

• CPR/First Aid Certification preferred.

• Annual Health Certificate as required by law.
