What you will be doing:
- Prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread etc. following traditional and modern recipes.
- Create, decorate and present new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of our resort guests.
- Monitor stocks for baking ingredients and make appropriate orders within budget.
Your experience and skills include:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position in an international luxury brand. Maldives’ work experience is preferred.
- Proficient in English. Other language skills such as Russian would be a plus.
- Excellent communications & leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment.
- Great attention to detail and creativity.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP and safety standards.
- Strong multicultural awareness and ability to work with people from diverse cultures.
- Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
