Based at the Mövenpick Hotel Hobart, this multi-hotel role forms part of our Reservations team, supporting multiple hotels across Tasmania and Melbourne. The ideal candidate is highly organised and possesses exceptional time management and communication skills. You will be responsible for delivering consistently accurate and high-quality service for our clients – every interaction, every day.

Job Description

  • Use the hotel systems to process and input all reservations types in an accurate and efficient manner
  • Maintain a positive selling approach to maximize yield in both occupancy and rates.
  • Possess strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workflow and workload individually and across the team
  • Respond to guest calls according to hotel policy and ensuring an outstanding guest experience
  • Co-ordinate group reservations.
  • Ensure arrivals list is checked on a daily basis to displaying correct rate and market codes.
  • Ensure accurate data is recorded for all reservations

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred
  • The ability to manage time and multi-task
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends
  • An outcome-driven approach to performance and results
  • A natural ability to build and maintain internal and external client relationships
  • Prior experience working with Opera Cloud or a related system
