Job Description

Due to a temporary increase of activity, Accor is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel for France for its Evry and Paris offices, on a fixed term basis 4 (four months), reporting directly to SVP General Counsel Development & Operating France, Benelux, Switzerland & NA in Paris/Evry.
You will take part in a dynamic team working on franchise/management Agreements, with a variety of cross-departmental and international projects.
This is a highly international and valued position, closely with our Legal colleagues at European & corporate level and Accor’s branded hotels (both managed and franchised) in France and other countries in Europe like Switzerland or Benelux.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:
•    Drafting and negotiation of legal documents and contracts (for example hotel management agreements, franchise agreements, services agreements, IT contracts, order form, general terms and conditions, templates…)
•    mission of advice on all legal issues related to the field of activity and permanent responsibilities and drafting of summary notes,
•    management and monitoring of pre-litigation and litigation disputes,
•    advice to operational and support services on issues related to contract law
•    training and raising awareness of operational staff/support on legal and operational issues
•    Participation in projects and working groups across the Hub
 


Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:
· Law Master’s degree in France, Master on (international) business law is a plus

. First experience wished in similar legal positions in multinational companies and/or external law firms
. Experience in hospitality industry and/or Franchise network is a plus 

· Strong understanding in commercial law; Hotel Management Contract / Franchise
· Knowledge of Business & Franchise laws;
· Business acumen, business-oriented practice;
· Developed negotiation skills;
· Strategic thinking and problem solving capabilities.
· Fluency in English (C1 level)

- Remote work : up to 2 days per week
- Workplace: Evry, with the possibility of working occasionally from our other headquarters in Issy-les-Moulineaux.
