Job Description

This is a great opportunity to demonstrate your customer service and eagerness to develop skills across a wide range of food and beverage operations

  • Creating exceptional guest experiences by providing great customer service and memorable moments
  • Efficiently taking orders and serving food & beverage for restaurant, café and in room dining
  • Breakfast service including buffet and a la carte,  and maintaining presentation of the restaurant
  • Assisting guests with questions and menu recommendations
  • Working collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth running of the service period

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role, with hotel experience an advantage
  • Knowledge of beverages including barista coffee, cocktails and wines to be able to maximise average spend
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, with attention to detail
  • Interest in making genuine connections with guests and colleagues
  • Availability to work varied shifts including early morning, late evenings, weekends and public holidays - minimum of three shifts per week
  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol and Food Handling, or willing to obtain
  • Must have working rights in Australia
