Job Description

Are you passionate about delivering impeccable service in a luxurious setting? Sofitel London St James invites enthusiastic individuals to join our prestigious team as Conference & Banqueting Waiting Staff. You'll play a key role in ensuring memorable experiences for our guests during conferences, banquets, and special events.


  • Provide top-notch service to guests attending conferences, banquets, and events.
  • Set up and maintain event spaces to meet our high standards of presentation.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure efficient and timely service.
  • Serving of meals, beverages, and refreshments during events.
  • Manage the flow of service to maintain a smooth and enjoyable guest experience.
  • Clear and reset tables efficiently, adhering to sanitation and hygiene standards.
  • Anticipate and address guests' needs, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.


  • Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • You must be entitled to work in the UK.
