Job Description

  • Prepare and present high-quality Western and hot dishes in the main kitchen in accordance with the restaurant’s standards.
  • Manage and oversee a section of the kitchen, ensuring the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food are to the highest standards.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to develop new menu items and ensure variety and quality in the dining experience.
  • Ensure all food preparation meets food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to ensure consistent and high-quality food preparation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive and professional kitchen environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role, preferably in a premium restaurant or hotel setting.
  • Exceptional cooking skills with a strong focus on Western cuisine.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take direction from senior chefs.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.
