Job Description

  • Assist the Executive Pastry Chef in developing and perfecting recipes, ensuring consistency by following standardized recipes and specifications
  • Supervise the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef, delegating tasks to ensure service demands are met efficiently
  • Create and bake a variety of high-quality baked goods that meet the Hotel’s standards and delight our guests
  • Ensure all food products are safely handled, stored, and prepared in accordance with hotel policies and government food safety regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the bakery, ensuring compliance with food safety guidelines at all times

Qualifications

You will be:

  • Knowledgeable and experienced with advanced techniques like laminating pastry, sourdough, international flatbread, baguette, pumpernickel, pai bao, soda bread, challah and more
  • Experienced in working as a Baker or Pastry Chef, preferably in a medium to large 5-star hotel environment
  • Innovative and creative in delivering exceptional baked goods that exceed guest expectations
  • Skilled in crafting a wide range of baked goods, including breads, pastries, and specialty items
  • Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude, able to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented and passionate about hospitality, eager to learn new skills and collaborate with your team

Additional Information

This is a Full-Time role with guaranteed 40-hours per week, a competitive salary range of $65,000.00 - $72,000.00 and Accors range of Global Benefits:
