Job Description

Working in close collaboration with functional leadership teams (including Development, Finance, Design & Technical Services, Hotel Operations) the Analyst, Accor One Living, (EMEA) is responsible for supporting the development and operation of a high-quality network of branded residences across Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA). Additionally, this role will also support the VP Finance for Accor One Living, in liaising with divisional finance teams to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and revenue recognition of residential fees.

Reporting to Regional Vice President, Accor One Living, Head of Mixed-Use (EMEA & India), Global Development & D&TS Lead.

Responsibilities :

Primary Geographic Development

Support the RVP Accor One Living (EMEA) on development activities for the region, ensuring global reporting.

Specifically:

  • Assess new development opportunities via desktop market research analysis
  • Support in pitches to potential new Owners and questions from Owners regarding branded residential
  • Support review and drafting of term sheets and first draft agreements
  • Working closely with the Development team to create compelling internal validation documents
  • Support the preparation of initial Residential Home Owner Association budgets, working alongside Finance and Talent & Culture.
  • Chase Owner partners for sales reports, reviewing and analysing the reports
  • Maintain the list of global Branded Residential projects and ensuring correct reporting in Company database.
  • Prepare and update internal reporting and presentations for Accor One Living (both regionally and globally) including liaison with Accor’s global development marketing team
  • Perform competition analysis and preparation of case studies (internal & external)
  • Support the Chief Business Officer Accor One Living in researching, analysing and developing the financial model for new business initiatives, as well as long-term business planning.

Global Finance

In addition to core development support responsibilities across EMEA, the Analyst will also support the VP Finance, Accor One Living on a global basis as follows:

  • Assist as liaison between the Accor One Living Leadership and Divisional Finance teams in order to ensure timely billing and/or accruals of all Accor One Living Revenues, including review of General Ledger postings in a multi-system environment
  • Provide timely and accurate financial information to management
  • Monitor and analyse financial reports and results
  • Assist with the coordination of periodic financial planning (forecast and budgets)
  • Support in response to Corporate financial requests

Qualifications

Background

  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Business, Hospitality, Real Estate, or Finance ideally.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the hotel, residential or finance industry
  • Ability to align complex and frequently divergent stakeholder interests
  • Strong communicator, both written and verbal
  • Strong user knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of hotel business, financial modeling, residential development business, branded residential
