Company Description

We are ibis Schiphol Amsterdam Airport, a vibrant three-star hotel with 644 rooms, 5 F&B outlets, and 5 meeting rooms where we have the pleasure of welcoming guests from around the world every day. We are looking for an enthusiastic full-time team member (4 to 5 days per week) to join our Accounting / Finance team.


Job Description

Our Accounting team is clustered for two Ibis hotels in the Schiphol area, handling the administration for both hotels. For this position as an Accounting Clerk, we’re seeking someone who is not only detail-oriented with numbers but also strong in communication and organizational skills.

Your responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter and manage financial data
  • Analyze financial performance and support audits when necessary
  • Ensure all administration complies with relevant laws and regulations
  • Assist other departments with documentation and transaction processing
  • Perform and manage various reconciliations
  • Handle and follow up on complaints, disputes, and refunds

Qualifications

Who you are:

  • You have at least two years of experience in an administrative, accounting, or bookkeeping role
  • You are strong with numbers and proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and able to communicate effectively across departments
  • Proficient in English; Dutch is a plus
  • Experience in the hospitality or retail sector is a bonus, though not essential
  • Able to remain calm under pressure and flexible in a dynamic work environment
