Job Description

As a Spa Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their spa experience. Your role is to provide warm and professional service, handle reservations, and ensure smooth operations at the front desk. This position requires a customer-focused attitude, strong organizational skills, and a passion for wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service:

  • Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Provide information about spa services, treatments, and wellness programs.
  • Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.

Reservations & Scheduling:

  • Manage spa appointments and reservations using our booking system.
  • Coordinate with spa therapists and other team members to ensure efficient scheduling.
  • Handle changes or cancellations to bookings while accommodating guest needs.

Administrative Duties:

  • Answer phone calls, emails, and other inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Process payments and manage cash handling accurately.
  • Maintain an organized and clean reception area, including managing spa brochures and promotional materials.

Guest Experience:

  • Address guest requests, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Assist in creating a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere, enhancing overall guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure that all guest interactions are handled with the utmost respect and confidentiality.

Spa Product & Service Knowledge:

  • Stay informed about the spa’s services, treatments, and retail products.
  • Promote spa products and upsell treatments or packages as appropriate.
  • Provide recommendations based on guest preferences and needs.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with spa therapists and management to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Assist with any special events or promotions organized by the spa.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Compliance & Safety:

  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, including maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Ensure the privacy and confidentiality of guest information at all times.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in hospitality or related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role, preferably in a spa or wellness environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and approachable demeanor.
  • Proficiency in using booking systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A genuine interest in wellness, luxury, and exceptional guest service.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
