Novotel Queenstown Lakeside is centrally located on the shores of Lake Wakatipu and is the largest hotel in Queenstown with 273 rooms, catering for leisure guests, incentives and small meetings. We are proud of our diverse workplace with up to 30+ nationalities from all over the world.
Are you at your best at night, even when it comes to work? Then we are looking for you! We have an amazing opportunity for Night Receptionist to join our team. Using effective front office skills, you will ensure and excellent customer service experience for all our guests, during their stay.
Job Description
- Assist the Night Manager/Night Supervisor with the night audit process.
- Guest registration and departure.
- Maintaining accurate guest accounts and provide accurate and helpful information
- Attend to all incoming calls in a professional and polite manner; and
- Take phone booking for reservations.
- Maintaining strict security procedures to ensure guest confidentiality and safety.
- Assist with any overnight housekeeping requests.
- We offer competitive pay with a favorable night time overtime allowance.
- You will work from 10.30PM till 07.00AM.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Front Office and OPERA cloud will be advantageous, training will be provides to suitable candidate.
- Full Drivers License for valet parking.
- Great people and communication skills.
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in dealing with challenging situations, ability to remain calm under pressure and excellent problem solving capability.
